Xevian Industires presents - the Chiropterator (because bats need wings)

I made these entirely out of metal and found parts, leather straps and various buckles. They actually aren't as heavy as you might think, but they are a bit unwieldy to wear especially in a crowd. I managed not to kill anyone at steamcon, but there will be plenty of potential victims at Maker Faire next year!

Steamcon, looks like I am going it alone

My husband is suffering from a pinched nerve and is not going, he insists that I still do because I have been looking forward to it for so long. So I will leave Wednesday from the SF Bay area and drive up, arriving at the con hotel on Thursday.
