The Crossroads of the Aether

ive been having the workings of a Tale spinning in my mind for some nights. so i set upon myself to begin writing the visions that keep my mind from settling down to sleep, demanding for ink to meet paper into the magic of the written word.

and Blast it! twice now the notebooks of which i have begun writing the materials have been consumed into the ether, or the many hungry black holes of this old brick and plaster dwelling. *sigh*.

indeed i have thought about entering my thoughts into my portable computation device. however i find that the words do not flow as fluidly or as naturally as hey come from the tip of a pencil onto lined paper. it must be the tactile experience.

however good news has arrived. as we moved furniture and objects the black-hole spit it out. such elation was felt!

'My tables-meet it as I set it down'... Take heart even the great minds have these issues, I have of late, yet know not where lost some of the old poems, that, alas, remain only in scraps. Still this allows for re-writing or re-knitting to occur. Have you considered making the switch to a laptop? While I was resistant to it at first and still go to the pen occasionally, it has become more 'natural', and helps to keep from scattering my initial scrawls. Sometimes I imagine Hamlet's line above, as he pecks away on a laptop.

Back to my table,

~Noah
